Sometime ago information began circulating on the Internet regarding "SPYWARE".  Spyware is embedded in a program that is offered FREE.  Such offerings perform any number of desirable functions, COMET CURSORS is one such program.  Some folks that had this program may not have known that every time they accessed the Internet the little hidden program called home and reported on that users activities on the Internet, sites visited, purchases made, content viewed ,etc.   Well the folks at COMET CURSORS succumbed to the politically correct bashing of Confederate icons and symbols as something sinister and evil.  What hypocrisy from a company that uses embedded software to monitor a users activities on the net. 

Well you don’t have to use their program.   Nor will you have to worry that the CURSORS here will embed any spyware on your computer. 

These CURSORS are for your use and pleasure only.  When you download these cursors you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions of use. These cursors are offered without any user support or warranties. Basic instructions as provided in the "install.txt" file.  You are solely responsible for the use of these files on your system. 
These cursors and files were clean when uploaded.  As with any files you download you simply must scan for malicious code.

Now for the instructions.
Began by downloading the desired cursor files from a selected  zip package(s).  When you click on the desired zip package you will be taken to a page that promps you to click in a link to begin downloading. 
The ZIP packages must be UNZIPPED to get the cursors and the install.txt file.  Use a Folder/Directory that you can easily remember……(is best to write it down) 
If you do not have a copy of WINZIP you may go to WWW.WINZIP.COM and down load a copy. 
Once the individual files are extracted from the zipped archive you may simply move those files to the c:/WINDOWS/CURSORS/  folder.  Use your WINDOWS EXPLORER (used to be called File Manager) to transfer the files from the location where they downloaded to on your c drive. Once the files are in the desired folder you can do the following
1. Click on START
2. From the MENU choose SETTINGS
3. Next click on CONTROL PANEL
4. In the Control Panel choices find MOUSE and click on it.
5. On the MOUSE  control click on the TAB labeled POINTERS
6. A selection area is displayed The DEFAULT setting for Windows is the ARROW.  Highlite the NORMAL SELECT CHOICE.  Next click on BROWSE.
7. Almost done………Find the cursor that you want to use.  Cursors may have either of the following file extensions; *.CUR or *.ANI.  Usually *.ANI indicates that the cursor is animated.  Once you choose your new cursor click on APPLY then OKAY.
8. Your cursor should change and you can exit by simply closing the open windows.
9. ENJOY..!!!!
